| About MeGeorge Argyros Jr. is a businessman and philanthropist with a wide range of ventures and causes to which he is committed. Together with his wife of more than five years, Shannon, he formed the Shannon and George Argyros Jr. Charitable Foundation and, in 2010, he donated more than $25,000 to charity. George Argyros Jr. is active in many charitable causes but most recently has been an active donor to the Second Harvest Food Bank, the American Heart Association, the Orangewood Children’s Foundation, and Fashionable Women of Chapman.Previously, Mr. Argyros Jr. used his business background and community-oriented sensibilities to serve as Chairman of the Board for Long Beach Jam, a basketball team recognized by the American Basketball Association. An avid sportsman, he enjoys water skiing, snow skiing, and golfing. In addition, he feeds his adventurous streak as an avid boater and owner of a 43-foot Donzi speedboat. George Argyros Jr. attended Chapman University in Orange County, California, for both his undergraduate and graduate degrees. Earning his Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Finance, and Marketing, he went on to obtain his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Chapman as well. An active member of the Chapman alumni community, Mr. Argyros Jr. currently serves as Director of the Board of the Argyros School of Business and Economics.
